Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup

How to shape it "like a veteran": When it arrives at your home, the flat dome may seem a bit rigid and "cylindrical", making you look like a stationmaster! The veterans in the barracks use a trick to give it that worn and aggressive regulation look: they moisten the upper fabric with a water sprayer, crush the front of the dome downwards (just behind the front reinforcement) and let it dry resting on a spherical surface. It will take a beautiful crease!

Measure your head correctly: Being a "fixed size" hat (without elastics or rear Velcro), the choice of size is fundamental. Take a flexible tailor's tape measure and pass it about 2 cm above the eyebrows and just above the ears, measuring the maximum circumference. If you are on the border between two sizes (e.g. 56.5 cm), I strongly advise you to take the larger size (Size II) for greater comfort.

Washing (Save the visor!): The Rip-Stop fabric is indestructible, but the internal core of the rigid visor could be irreversibly deformed if subjected to strong heat. Absolutely forbidden to tumble dry! Wash it by hand in lukewarm water or in the washing machine with a delicate cold cycle (max 30°C). After washing, reshape it with your hands before laying it out to dry in the shade.
