The SNIPER BASE BOLERO with leaves by Invader Gear is a minimalist tactical Viper Hood designed to offer immediate 3D camouflage while maintaining a very low weight (only 760g). Its bolero design leaves the torso free, allowing easy use of Chest Rigs and Plate Carriers. Equipped with a moldable "oversize" hood compatible with helmets, netting for adding vegetation, and pre-sewn fabric leaves to instantly break up the operator's silhouette.

This Viper Hood is the ideal "ready to play" solution for scouts and snipers. The entire surface of the bolero is covered with a camouflage net on which 3D fabric leaves are firmly sewn. These three-dimensional elements replicate the coloring of the base camouflage and create an exceptional disruptive effect, breaking up the sharp lines of the shoulders and human head, blending the operator with the surrounding woodland environment from the first use.
Tactical Bolero Design:
The "bolero" cut strategically covers only the areas most exposed to view (head, shoulders, arms, and upper back), leaving the torso and abdominal area completely free. This ensures two fundamental tactical advantages: extreme ventilation to prevent heatstroke during summer Milsims, and immediate and unobstructed access to all pockets, magazines, and radios positioned on your front tactical gear. Closure is via a secure adjustable Fastex chest buckle.
Skeletonized Hood and Adjustments:
The oversized hood is built on a mesh structure ("skeletonized") to maximize visibility and breathability, offering enough space to be worn over protective helmets. Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup
The best choice for "Camouflage Dynamics": Compared to the full ghillie suit with cloak, this Bolero is the king of mobility. If you play on the attack, do advanced reconnaissance, or need to move quickly in the dirt, the 760 grams of this Viper Hood will save your life. You have all the concealment you need on your head and shoulders (the parts that stick out when you're in cover), but you're free to sprint, sweat, and reload without carrying around a heavy carpet!
Create your natural "Killflash": Carefully select the shape of the visor using the flexible wire integrated into the hood. If you lower the front brim just above the optic of your sniper rifle, the 3D leaves will create a perfect cone of shadow. This trick eliminates sun reflections on the front lens of the scope and hides the whites of your eyes, making you literally imperceptible.
Compact the arms: Before engaging in areas of dense vegetation, pull the "shock cords" (the elastics) on the sleeves tight. By adhering the 3D leaves and mesh to your arms, you will drastically reduce the lateral silhouette and eliminate the risk of getting caught on thorny brambles while crawling towards the target.
