Active Protection and Amplification (Dynamic Voice Tracking):
Earmor M31 PLUS don't just plug your ears, they use directional microphones to read the surrounding environment. If an explosion, firecracker or gunshot occurs (noises above 82 dB), the circuit immediately cuts off the sound, protecting the eardrum. On the contrary, when the environment is silent, the headphones amplify low-frequency sounds: you will be able to hear an opponent's footsteps in the woods or whispered communications from your teammate in a crystal clear way, maintaining total spatial perception (360 degrees).
All the new features of the PLUS Version (2024):
Compared to the previous generation (Mod. 3), Earmor has redesigned these headphones by listening to operator feedback. The biggest new feature is the new silicone gel earpads: they adapt perfectly to the shape of the head, sealing out noise and preventing excessive heat on the ears during prolonged use. Furthermore, we find an updated motherboard with greater resistance to radio interference (no more annoying "hissing"), a 3-second delay on the power button to avoid accidental shutdowns, and improved metal battery covers equipped with anti-loss silicone straps.
The "Law Enforcement" Setup (Radio Listening): Be careful not to confuse the models! This M31 does not have the integrated boom microphone (if you are looking for that, you need to take the M32). However, it has an amazing tactical advantage: thanks to the 3.5mm AUX input, you can connect the headphones directly to the audio output of a Shoulder Microphone (Speaker Mic), exactly like the Police do! In this way you will listen to team communications privately and in a crystal clear way inside the headphones, and you just need to press the button and speak into the microphone hooked to the shoulder strap of your tactical vest. A clean, comfortable and super professional setup!
The Magic of Gel Earpads: If you have ever used cheap headphones with foam pads, you know how much they make you sweat in the summer and how much they squeeze if you wear protective glasses. The soft silicone gel of this PLUS version molds around the temples of the glasses, eliminating pain in the temples and ensuring a perfect acoustic seal. Your eardrums (and your head) will thank you.
Battery Maintenance: The new M31 PLUS have a monstrous battery life of 350 hours. However, if you know you won't be playing for a month or more, ALWAYS remove the two AAA batteries from the earpads. Humidity and cold could oxidize or "burst" the batteries, releasing acid on the internal contacts and irreversibly frying the very delicate amplification circuits of this masterpiece!
