The Savior of the Single-Stack:
Purists love the 1911 for its slim and ergonomic grip. However, this ultra-thin design (just 1.5 cm wide) leaves very little room for the tank in standard gas magazines, making them extremely vulnerable to the cold. WE designed this CO2 magazine (powered by standard 12-gram cartridges) specifically to overcome this limitation. The result is superior firing range and a metallic, crisp, and powerful "Blowback" (recoil) that doesn't fear the infamous Cooldown effect (freezing).
Extreme Winter Consistency:
The tactical advantage of CO2 over Green Gas lies in its immense pressure and thermal stability at low temperatures. While normal gas loses strength to the point of failing to cycle the slide, CO2 guarantees constant Joule values. This magazine fits perfectly even in WE 1911s originally sold with gas, turning them into unstoppable war machines during frigid winter games.
The 5 Degree Rule (When to use it): As we told you, this magazine fits perfectly even on 1911s born with Green Gas. BUT BE CAREFUL! CO2 unleashes a very high pressure. Using this magazine in the middle of summer with 30 degrees in the shade risks literally cracking the slide and mechanics of your pistol! Our expert advice is this: switch to this CO2 magazine ONLY in the middle of winter, when temperatures drop below 5°C and your original gas magazine cannot complete the firing cycle even using the most powerful winter gases. This way you will save the pistol and dominate the field.
Tighten with caution: When you insert the 12g cartridge and use the Allen key to close the bottom cap, turn until you hear a slight "pssst" (the cartridge has been pierced) and then give it one last quarter turn to seal. Do not overtighten! Overtightening will destroy the seal in no time.
Never leave the cartridge pierced: This is the golden rule of CO2. At the end of the game, unscrew the bottom and slowly vent the residual CO2, removing the cartridge or firing. Leaving a pierced CO2 capsule and\or pressurized inside the magazine for days or weeks will irreversibly dry and deform the internal O-Rings, causing irreparable leaks.
