You will prevent the overheated CO2 from stressing the slide too much or causing you to exceed the Joule limit in chronograph tests.
How to safeguard the feed lips: The upper "feed lips" of AW Custom magazines are very precise. The capacity is 20 rounds, but our golden tip is to fill it with 18 or 19 BBs at most. This trick removes pressure from the last BB inserted, allowing it to slide perfectly into the barrel without forcing the plastic.
Protected but demanding valve: The beautiful CANIK base protects the valve excellently, but always remember to refill the gas keeping the can and the magazine perfectly vertical to avoid side leaks. At the end of the day, NEVER drain the residual gas by pressing the valve with your fingers! Always leave a small charge inside to keep the precious O-Rings healthy.
