These LOWA laces use a special mixed construction of polyester and cotton. This material guarantees extreme tear resistance, resists moisture, and, above all, offers that slight elastic "give" that is essential when tightening the knot, accommodating the movements of the instep during walking.

Unlike flat laces that tend to twist, the 3-millimeter diameter round design has been specifically designed for tactical hardware. The lace slides smoothly and without snagging through the closed eyelets or open hooks of your boots, allowing you to lace or unlace your footwear in record time, even in the dark or with cold gloves.

With their developed length of 145 cm, these laces are optimized for low or medium profile tactical and approach footwear (Low / Mid-cut). They minimize annoying surpluses on the bow, ensuring a clean and secure knot that does not risk getting caught in vegetation or brambles.
The Meter Rule (How to choose the size): "Will 145 centimeters be fine for my boots?" It is the question you ask us most often! The golden rule, suggested by LOWA itself, is very simple: before completing the order, remove one of the old laces from your boot and measure it with a meter or tape. If the measurement is around 140-150 cm, this is the perfect product for you! (Generally, 145 cm is the perfect standard for the Lowa Zephyr in the low "Lo" version or for the "Mid" models with fewer eyelets).
