This BB Retaining Latch is an original (OEM) spare part manufactured by PTS, specifically designed for their renowned line of EPM series magazines (including EPM, EPM1, EPM1-S).
The function of this small but crucial component is to retain the BB column inside the magazine when it is not inserted into the replica. A worn or broken "latch" is the main cause of the annoying escape of all the BBs ("geyser effect") as soon as the magazine is extracted.
