Pro Maintenance Tips for Installation

Hop-Up Transplant: Remember that you are only purchasing the outer shell (Outer Barrel). To make the pistol fire, you will need to extract the brass inner barrel and the Hop-Up unit from your old barrel and insert them into this new one. The operation requires field stripping of the slide, but it is an operation that can be completed in a few minutes.

Beware of Friction (Prevent Scratches!): GBB pistols like the PPQ M2 use a "tilting barrel" system. This means that with each shot, the barrel rubs against the inner top of the slide. To prevent the black paint from scratching immediately (creating the famous wear "smile" on the top), put a very light coat of lithium or PTFE grease on the top of the barrel and on the square block of the chamber before mounting it!

Model Compatibility: This part is designed for the PPQ M2 (the version with the round magazine release button on the side). Make sure you have this specific Umarex/VFC model to ensure that the mating with the Hop-Up unit is perfect.
