Skeletonized Design and Winter Power:
The grip of the real 1911 is very narrow (only 1 cm thick for the magazine). To fit a powerful 12g CO2 cartridge, KWC has devised this ingenious open side design. This structure allows you to exploit all the incredible pressure of the CO2 to move the replica's heavy metal slide. The result? A nasty, crisp blowback and a firing consistency that is not at all afraid of the winter frost (zero Cooldown).
PAY ATTENTION TO COMPATIBILITY (It's not universal!): The 1911 market is immense, so pay close attention! The KWC mechanical system is proprietary. This magazine is NOT compatible with 1911s manufactured by WE, Tokyo Marui, KJW, or Army Armament. Only buy it if your pistol is a KWC or if the box has the Cybergun / Colt logo and runs on CO2!
Watch out for the end cap: The bottom Allen screw that tightens the cartridge is very thin. When you insert the CO2, screw it in while keeping the Allen wrench straight and stop as soon as you feel the cartridge has pierced and is sealed. If you tighten with excessive force, you risk stripping the thread of the cap, rendering the magazine unusable.
Extra lubrication: Unlike Green Gas which contains lubricant, CO2 is a "dry" gas. Since this magazine has the firing valve exposed on the back, remember to spray a very small drop of silicone oil on the valve button every 4-5 cartridges consumed. This will keep the internal O-Ring soft and prevent premature leaks.
