This superb replica, made under official Daniel Defense® license, is the most faithful reproduction of the handguard supplied to US SOCOM for the SOPMOD II program. Made of sturdy aluminum, it is the only handguard designed to mount an M203 grenade launcher in "free float" mode. Available in Black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE).

This is the standard handguard used for the "Mod 1" conversion of M4 carbines, supplied to SOCOM units and Navy SEALs (MK18 CQBR).

Designed at the request of US SOCOM, this handguard has a revolutionary feature: it allows the operator to install an M203 grenade launcher in "free float" mode, without the need for additional parts and without the grenade launcher touching the barrel, for superior precision. The build quality is superior, with a solid anodized aluminum construction and the presence of all original Daniel Defense markings for 1:1 realism.
