The GLADIO Tactical Combat Pants by Defcon 5 are an advanced tactical garment, designed to offer extreme performance and uncompromising comfort. Made of tough Rip-Stop fabric (60% Cotton / 40% Polyester), it features elastic inserts in 100% Spandex, padded waist and integrated anatomical rigid knee pads (removable and adjustable). The 10-pocket configuration makes it the ultimate pants for any operational scenario.

Technical Materials and Extreme Resistance:
Designed to withstand wear and tear in the most hostile scenarios, the GLADIO pants are made of Rip-Stop fabric (60% Cotton and 40% Polyester). This blend ensures exceptional tear resistance while maintaining good breathability. To further increase the garment's durability, the crotch features a double layer of reinforced fabric, which is essential to prevent tearing during sliding or climbing in urban and woodland environments.

Dynamic Mobility and Absolute Comfort:
An operator with restricted movement is an operator at risk. For this reason, Defcon 5 has included large panels of 100% Spandex stretch fabric in critical areas: the crotch and the area around the knees. This system perfectly supports the biomechanics of the legs. The waist area is padded to absorb the weight of the equipment and features a Velcro adjustment for a stable fit. The oversized 5 cm loops have been specifically designed to support rigid tactical belts (Rigger Belts) loaded with accessories.

Integrated Protection and Load Capacity:
The pants are equipped as standard with anatomical rigid knee pads. These protectors safeguard the joints from impacts against rocks and debris, and can be adjusted in height to perfectly center the operator's knee, or removed altogether. The storage layout offers a good 10 pockets: the large cargo thigh pockets stand out for quick access to primary equipment and the reinforced front pockets, ideal for securely attaching the clips of folding knives or multi-tools.

Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup

Center the protection: Before going into the field, put on the pants and use the adjustment straps to raise or lower the knee pads. The rigid cap must be positioned exactly on your knee when you bend, without you having to pull up your pants with your hands. This detail makes the difference between a protected knee and a painful bump on a stone!

Take advantage of the rear adjustments: Use the Velcro straps positioned on the calves and ankles to tighten the pants around the leg. In addition to giving a much more aggressive and professional look, this will prevent the knee pads from "dancing" laterally while running and will seal the pants above the boots, keeping out dirt and insects.

Tactical washing and maintenance: As with all high-level combat pants, remember to completely remove the rigid knee pads from their housings before putting the garment in the washing machine. Wash in cold water (max 30°C) and inside out to preserve the color, the resistance of the Rip-Stop and, above all, the vital elasticity of the Spandex inserts. Always avoid the dryer.
