The Outer Barrel PART NO. G-39 from WE is the original standard replacement for G17 gas pistols. Made of solid metal, it features an internal female thread (11mm CW) at the muzzle, perfect for hosting tracer adapters. Natively compatible with the WE G17, it can also be mounted on G18C models for a cleaner look without the classic upper cooling cuts.
Weight: only 49 grams.

The Perfect Original Replacement (OEM):
Glock series gas pistols, due to their tilting barrel system, tend to heavily wear and scratch the outer barrel by rubbing against the slide. If the barrel of your WE G17 has had its day, is dented, or has excessive play that compromises accuracy, this original replacement (Part No. G-39) is the only 100% guaranteed solution. Being a factory part, it will install without the need for any filing or modification to the slide.

Ready for Tracers and Extended Compatibility:
This barrel comes from the factory with the muzzle already prepared: inside you will find an 11mm clockwise (CW) "female" thread. This allows you to screw on the appropriate adapters (such as the Madbull 11mm to 14mm CCW) to mount silencers or Spitfire tracer units. Furthermore, although it was born for the G17, the mechanical dimensions allow it to be installed without problems even on the burst-fire sister G18C, replacing the original drilled barrel with a full and clean design that better protects the Hop-Up from dirt.

Pro Maintenance Tips for Installation

The Madbull Adapter is its best friend: If you are buying this barrel with the intention of mounting a tracer to play at night or in CQB, remember that the 11mm internal thread does not allow you to directly mount standard accessories. Purchase a 11mm to 14mm CCW Adapter (like the one from Madbull that you find in our catalog) at the same time to transform this barrel into a universal base!

Prevent the Glock "Smile": The rubbing of the upper part of the barrel against the top of the slide always creates a semi-circular scratch (called in jargon "smile"). To drastically slow down this phenomenon and preserve the black paint of your new barrel, always put a veil of lithium or PTFE grease on the upper part before reassembling the pistol.

Remember the insides! We emphasize that this is only the empty outer barrel. To make your WE fire, you will first have to extract the Hop-Up unit and the internal brass barrel from your old barrel and insert them into this new one. It literally takes 30 seconds disassembling the pistol even on the field!
