It is composed of lightweight expanded polyurethane and a polyurethane lever containing a flash charge similar to an Mk7. Airsoft Pyrotechnics products are commercial devices manufactured in Russia by the same company that produces Kalashnikovs.
This grenade features an innovative 2-stage safety and ignition system, just like a real hand grenade. The ring is pulled to remove the safety pin, and the grenade is held in hand, keeping the lever pressed down, until ready to throw. The 3.5-second delay ignites as soon as the lever is released when the grenade is thrown.
The flash burns so fast that the grenade should not ignite dried grass or similar flammable surrounding it may land upon.

This is a pyrotechnical grenade. Always wear the eye protection! Make sure that use of pyrotechnics is allowed in your country.
