Its 3.8 cm width is specifically designed to evenly distribute weight on the shoulder, a crucial detail when carrying long and heavy replicas made of real wood and steel, such as Dragunov (SVD) sniper rifles or AK47/AKM.
The hardware is made of stamped iron, ensuring a rock-solid attachment to the replica's sling loops. The two robust metal snap hooks allow for quick and secure installation, while the adjustment system allows the sling to extend up to 100 cm to best adapt to the operator's build and the volume of worn equipment (such as plate carriers or chest rigs).

Pro Tips:
The "Battle Worn" Aesthetic: If you own a full-metal AK or SVD (perhaps an LCT or E&L), this is THE sling to use. The iron hooks will inevitably rub against the steel sling loop of the rifle, gradually removing some of the bluing: don't be alarmed, that's exactly what you want! This natural aging (along with that of the wood) will give your replica that lived-in, authentic "battle-worn" look that true purists of Russian platforms crave.
Hemp Treatment: This material is incredibly tear-resistant, but unlike modern nylon, it tends to absorb moisture and mud. After a game, if the sling is very dirty, wash it strictly by hand with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Let it air dry. Do not put it in a dryer under any circumstances and keep it away from direct heat sources (like radiators): excessive heat would cause the hemp fibers to shrink, permanently shortening the sling and making it as hard as a piece of wood!
