Thin Profile and Extended Compatibility:
The Colt 1911 is famous for its slim and comfortable grip. To maintain this real ergonomics, even in softair, the magazine must be thin (monofilare), with the BBs stacked in a single column. This original WE magazine faithfully reproduces these dimensions, using a solid black metal block that gives a realistic weight to the replica. The great advantage of this specific model is its standardized design, which makes it perfectly compatible with the renowned Tokyo Marui and Socom Gear mechanisms.
The Importance of GBB Replacement:
Having only 15 rounds in your secondary weapon means you have to reload often during intense battles. Having a pair of spare magazines in your tactical gear is essential. Thanks to the robust filling valve placed on the base, the Green Gas filling is fast and without losses, allowing you to return to action immediately with a dry and decisive Blowback.
BEWARE OF COLD WEATHER (The Limit of Monofilare): Being a thin magazine, the internal chamber that holds the Green Gas is very small compared to bifilar magazines (like those of Glock or Beretta). This means that it suffers greatly from cold (Cooldown effect). If you play in winter or with rigid temperatures, the normal gas pressure will drop immediately. For winter games, we strongly recommend loading this magazine with a "High Pressure" Green Gas (Red/Black Gas or Winter Gas) specifically designed for low temperatures!
Don't force the 16th round: The declared capacity is 15 rounds. Often players try to push in an extra round by force. Don't do it! This stresses the internal spring excessively and risks breaking the upper plastic "lips" (feed lips), causing feeding problems. 15 rounds are perfect.
The trick of conservation: When putting away the gear, never drain the magazine by pressing the rear valve! The gas would freeze the seals, ruining them. Always leave a slight gas pressure inside (just a small spray from the bottle): the silicone oil contained in the gas will keep the O-Rings soft and hermetic until the next Sunday!
