Anyone who has assembled an AR15 (M4/M16) replica knows the problem: either the barrel nut is correctly aligned with the receiver (for the passage of the mock gas tube or for the handguard screws) but remains loose, or, by tightening further, the fixing is solid but the alignment is wrong. This precision shim kit from EPeS is the professional solution to this annoying problem.

These shims, with a thickness of only 0.1mm, allow you to finely adjust the final position of the barrel nut, until you find the exact point where it is both perfectly aligned and tightened to the correct torque. This guarantees a very solid coupling between the outer barrel, handguard and receiver, eliminating any play.
