The main problem during summer operations or intense games is sweat dripping on the forehead, fogging glasses and causing discomfort. Defcon 5 has solved the situation by integrating COOLMAX® technology into the fabric. This special fiber is designed to actively wick moisture away from the skin, pushing it to the outside of the fabric where it evaporates much faster than normal cotton, keeping the head cool, dry and preventing irritation.

Tactical Resistance (Rip-Stop Fabric):
Despite its feather-light weight of only 80 grams, this bandana is not afraid of abuse. The structure of the fabric is worked with Rip-Stop (anti-tear) weave. This feature makes it resistant to abrasion and prevents any punctures caused by branches or brambles from widening, ensuring long-lasting durability even in hostile woodland environments.

Ergonomic Design and Military Certification:

Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup

The ultimate under-helmet for FAST helmets: If you use a FAST or MICH type helmet in airsoft, you know that the internal pads (the cushions) in sponge soak up sweat after an hour of play. Wearing this bandana under the helmet creates a perfect breathable barrier: the sweat is absorbed by the Coolmax and does not end up on the lenses of the glasses, and at the same time you avoid the direct rubbing of the rigid pads of the helmet on the scalp. Crazy comfort!

The "Cooling" trick (Water cooling): During the torrid games of July or August, take advantage of Coolmax technology to your advantage! During breaks, remove the bandana, wet it with a little water from the water bottle, squeeze it well and put it back on your head. The water evaporating through the Coolmax fibers will generate a real natural cooling effect that will lower the temperature of your head.

Pay attention to the back knot: If you use it alone you can tighten it as you want, but if you use it under a helmet or with shooting headphones (headset) with a neckband, make sure to make the knot of the laces very flat and low, towards the neck. A knot that is too thick and high, crushed by the helmet's retention system, could cause you an annoying headache after a few hours.
