Multi-Layer Armor and CE Protection:
The M-Pact 2 has been redesigned to offer an unprecedented level of industrial and tactical safety. The back of the hand is defended by a composite system that integrates ARIAPRENE® COR foam padding, high-density EVA foam, and the infallible thermoplastic rubber (TPR). This synergy of materials absorbs the strongest impacts on knuckles and fingers, and has been extended with new TPR protection specifically dedicated to the thumb and a patch on the wrist to protect the ulna from accidental trauma.
Bionic D3O® Aero Palm and Padlock™ Grip:
Weapon control in high-stress or humid situations is guaranteed by a revolutionary double-layer palm. Cushioning is entrusted to a combination of 2mm EVA foam on the palm and a full 4mm of D3O® Aero intelligent polymer on the carpus, which dissipates kinetic energy and vibrations from heavy calibers. The outer surface is coated with a Padlock™ silicone grip and a high-traction, heat-stamped texture for a grip that is literally "glued" to the equipment.
Extreme Durability and Total Connectivity:
To prevent the gloves from giving way at critical points, Mechanix has internally fused double-layer reinforcements on the fingertips of all fingers, optimizing resistance to prolonged abrasion. Despite its armored nature, the synthetic leather palm is 100% compatible with touchscreen screens, allowing the operator to manage communications and GPS without ever exposing their hands. The integrated nylon tactical loop facilitates transport and stowing on the Plate Carrier.

Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup
The Evolution of Grip: If you've tried the M-Pact 1, with version 2 you'll notice a huge difference in grip. The Padlock™ silicone system is not just an aesthetic whim: if you play in heavy rain or are covered in mud, the mechanical friction generated by these inserts will allow you to rack the pistol or grip the forend of the rifle with a force that normal synthetic leather cannot physically offer you.
Ulna Protection (A Lifesaver): That small piece of rubber on the outside of the wrist is a brilliant intuition by Mechanix. When you lie on the ground in a prone position to shoot, or when you crawl in tight spaces (CQB), the wrist bone (ulna) is often exposed and bumps against edges. That patch absorbs the blow, preventing sharp pains that could distract you from the target.
Washing Precautions: With all this layered technology (EVA, D3O Aero, Ariaprene, and Silicone), maintenance must be impeccable. Machine wash them cold only (max 30°C) and forget about the dryer or radiators. Direct heat would not only dry out the D3O, but could also cause the precious Padlock™ silicone inserts to peel off the palm. Fresh air and shade are your M-Pact 2's best friends!
