The Evolution of Plug & Play (12W / 0.9A):
The FUEL RC BL3 is the perfect compromise for those looking for a compact and automatic charger but want a little extra boost. Unlike the classic entry-level models that stop at 800mA, this device pushes 900mA (0.9A) on each individual cell. This translates into shorter waiting times to bring your 7.4V or 11.1V batteries to 100%. The semi-transparent smoked shell also gives it a technical and modern look, revealing the internal components.
Balanced Charging and Immediate Reading:
No buttons to press, no screens to program. The BL3 charges the battery by drawing power exclusively from the balance port (the white JST-XH connector), ensuring that each cell is charged independently and evenly. The three large front LEDs (Cell 1, Cell 2, Cell 3) provide you with immediate visual feedback: solid red during charging and green when the cell has reached the optimal voltage. Once all the LEDs are green, you're ready to play!
Do you have a Li-Ion battery (e.g. Titan)? No problem! On the box you will only read "Li-Po", but remember our golden rule: airsoft Li-Ion batteries share exactly the same voltages as Li-Po batteries (3.7V nominal, 4.2V peak). You can safely connect your Li-Ion batteries to this charger and it will charge them perfectly and safely!
Where do I plug it in? Only the white connector! Being a compact balanced charger, you DO NOT have to attach the main connector (the Tamiya or the Deans) of your battery. This device doesn't need it! Insert ONLY the small white connector with the colored wires (JST-XH) into the corresponding port (3-pin for 7.4V, 4-pin for 11.1V).
Safety Issue (Lipo Bag): Although the FUEL RC BL3 manages charging in total safety by switching off when the cycle is complete, we remind you that Lithium batteries must be treated with respect. Always carry out charging by placing the battery on fireproof surfaces or, even better, inside the appropriate safety Lipo Bags (you can find them on our shop!).
