The Canik TP9 manufactured by AW Custom (under Cybergun license) is a masterpiece of airsoft engineering, designed from the factory to support dual power. If the Green Gas magazine does a great job in the summer, when temperatures plummet, CO2 becomes your best friend. This one-piece metal magazine is designed to safely handle the very high pressures of CO2, returning to your TP9 a crisp, mean "Blowback" (recoil) and exceptional shooting consistency even below zero.
Tactical Design and Realism:
In addition to performance, looks matter. Unlike many CO2 magazines that feature unsightly and protruding baseplates, AW Custom has masked the cartridge insertion compartment with a magnificent extended polymer baseplate (Bumper Pad), in the "+3 rounds" style, on which the official CANIK logo stands out. The tightening screw is conveniently accessible from below via an Allen key, guaranteeing an aggressive look and 100% faithful to the real firearm.
The Common Sense of Dual Power: The Canik TP9 was born to withstand CO2, it's true. But remember this golden rule: Green Gas in summer, CO2 in winter. Subjecting the pistol's mechanics to the inhuman pressure of a CO2 cartridge under the July sun means prematurely wearing out the slide, air nozzle and seals. Buy this magazine to be lethal in January at 2°C, and go back to Green Gas when it starts to get hot. Your replica will thank you by lasting forever!
Invisible Tightening: To insert the 12g cartridge, simply use an Allen key directly from the hole under the Canik baseplate. When tightening, do it slowly. As soon as you hear a slight leak ("pssst") and then silence, stop! Giving extra turns of the key with violence does not make the gun shoot harder, but only destroys the internal seal of the magazine.
End of Game (Always Empty!): As with any CO2 system, at the end of the day NEVER leave the pierced cartridge inside. The continuous pressure dries out the O-Ring and deforms it. Unscrew gently, let out the remaining gas, remove the capsule and spray a veil of silicone oil on the valve to keep it soft for the next game.
