P.A.K. Power "Made in Turkey":
If you have a massive blank-firing replica (like copies of the Beretta 92FS or Glock 17), you need a cartridge capable of unleashing considerable energy to cycle the metal slide. The 9mm P.A.K. (Pistole Automatik Knall) caliber is the perfect standard. Kaiser ammunition, produced in Turkey, is famous for offering a vigorous explosive charge: the result is a detonation with an impressive volume that has nothing to envy from the realism of a real firearm.
Brass Coating and Fluid Action:
The main problem with blank-firing guns is jamming during ejection. Kaiser solves this issue by applying a highly smooth brass coating to the casings. This layer reduces friction inside the chamber. The primer combines perfectly with the "cup" closure (the green plastic cap) which, retaining the gases for a fraction of a second, generates the ideal pressure to complete the firing cycle and eject the empty casing at lightning speed.
WARNING - The Caliber Rule: Always remember that the 9mm (9x22) caliber does NOT fit in pistols chambered for 8mm! They are wider and longer rounds. Check the marking on the slide of your pistol before putting them in the magazine. Also, being rounds with a smooth base without a flange, they are NOT suitable for drum revolvers!
Mandatory Hearing Protection: Turkish 9mm P.A.K. rounds are unforgiving. The bang is literally deafening. If you use them for New Year's Eve outdoors, no problem, but if you use them for simulations indoors (e.g. CQB or garage), the use of earplugs or protective headphones is mandatory, otherwise you risk very annoying tinnitus for the rest of the week!
Oil and Cleaning Brush: The green plastic of the cup, exploding, melts and vaporizes in the barrel together with the black powder. If you fire 50 rounds in a row and put the weapon away without cleaning it, the next time the slide will jam due to the friction of the dirt. A generous spray of silicone gun oil and a pass with a cleaning brush will guarantee you an eternal and always reliable pistol.
