The Blackhawk Omnivore™ changes the game with a unique engineering approach: the holster never touches the slide or frame of your replica. Its retention mechanism attaches exclusively to the body of the tactical light installed on the weapon. This "Free-Floating Design" system not only accommodates over 150 different pistol models (Glock, 1911, Beretta, SIG, CZ, etc.) but also prevents any rubbing or wear on your replica's finish.
Safety is guaranteed by a Level 2 Retention system. The weapon is securely locked in place until the operator presses the ergonomic thumb release button, which disengages the lock, allowing for instant drawing. To perfectly adapt to every shooter's hand, the thumb button includes spacers that make it adjustable to 3 different heights. Unlike classic bare polymer holsters, the Omnivore is externally coated with a textured rubber layer: this armor absorbs impacts and, most importantly, eliminates dull noises in case of impact against equipment or walls in CQB, keeping your setup extremely quiet.

The Golden Rule of the Flashlight: I want to be very clear on this point. The Omnivore does not retain the pistol; it bites the flashlight! This means that if you insert the bare pistol without a flashlight, the replica will literally fall to the ground. Furthermore, the attachment dimensions are millimeter-precise. Use an original SureFire X300 or an airsoft clone that exactly replicates its dimensions (WADSN clones, for example, are perfect and tested). Do not try to force Olight, TLR, or other brands with "similar" shapes: the safety lock would not engage, and you risk damaging the internal mechanism of the holster.
Customize your draw: Don't throw away the two extra plastic pieces you find in the box! These are the spacers for the thumb release button. Before heading into the field, put on your tactical gloves, insert the pistol, and practice drawing. If you feel you have to "search" for the button by bending your thumb too much, add a spacer. The perfect draw occurs when, by pushing your hand down to grasp the grip, your thumb disengages the safety naturally and involuntarily, in one fluid motion.
