Thanks to a 15 Watt output and a charging current of 1200mA (1.2A) for each individual cell, it drastically reduces waiting times. It's the ideal compromise for quickly recharging classic 7.4V 1200/1500mAh batteries and offers an adequate boost even for 11.1V batteries.
Safe Balancing and Intuitive Indicators:
Safety first: this device charges the battery exclusively through the balancing connector (the small white JST-XH connector), ensuring that each cell reaches exactly 4.2V independently, preserving the life of your Li-Po. The front panel features three very clear status LEDs: Flashing Green/Red (Standby, ready to charge), Solid Red (Charging) and Solid Green (100% Charged).
The Advantage of 1.2A: Let's do some quick calculations! If you have a 1200mAh battery (i.e., 1.2 Ah), this FUEL RC charger will charge it from completely empty to 100% in about an hour, while an old 0.8A charger would take an hour and a half. It's the perfect accessory to always keep in your bag for emergency recharges at the field or during lunch breaks at tournaments!
Connect Only the White Connector: As with all compact balanced chargers, you should NOT attach the main connector (Tamiya or Deans) to the charger. You use ONLY the small white balancing connector. Make sure to insert it in the right direction (there are small plastic guides to prevent mistakes), choosing the 3-pin port for 7.4V or the 4-pin port for 11.1V.
Safety First (Lipo Bag): The 1.2A provides a good energy boost to your Li-Po. We remind you that Lithium Polymer batteries are sensitive and, if mechanically damaged during the game, can overheat during charging. Always perform charging operations by ALWAYS placing the battery inside a fireproof safety Lipo Bag (available in our shop for a few euros).
