Pro Maintenance Tips

CO2 WARNING: We will never tire of repeating it! Umarex produces these beautiful Berettas in both Green Gas and CO2 versions. The two platforms use totally different magazines and valves. This magazine is good only for M9 Green Gas models. If you try to insert it into a Beretta designed for CO2, it will not latch and you risk damaging the mechanism!

The Golden Rule (22 or 23 rounds!): The technical specifications speak of 24 BBs. Although it is true, we give you advice from true veterans: stop at 22 or 23 rounds! Allowing the spring to maintain a millimeter of play will prevent the last BB from rubbing unnaturally against the plastic lips, ensuring immediate feeding without jams.

Pressure Matters: As always for gas devices, the health of the seals is vital. Never empty the magazine by pressing the rear valve at the end of the game! The vent transforms the gas into ice and ruins the O-Rings. Always store the magazine with a small spray of Green Gas inside: the pressure will keep the seals soft, ready for the next Sunday of play.
