This stock from Pirate Arms is a faithful replica of the popular "Crane" (SOPMOD) design used on many AR15 platforms, such as the M4 or MK18. It is specifically designed for electric replicas (AEG) and fits most standard buffer tubes.

The construction material is Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon, a "premium" choice compared to common polymer, which offers a superior solid feel, greater resistance to damage and a realistic matte look. Its wide shape also offers a very comfortable cheek weld when aiming.

Its main function is to house large batteries: the two side compartments are easily accessible (often by removing the rubber buttpad) and are sized for Nunchuk (2-cell) or the larger Crane (3-cell) batteries.
