Original Equipment and Total Compatibility:
This is not just an aftermarket accessory, but the exact extended magazine that comes standard when you purchase the Glock 18C VFC/Umarex. The true engineering magic of this system lies in the total sharing of the "frame" (the lower polymer frame) between models. As the G18C is structurally identical to the Glock 17 of the third and fourth generation, this 50-round magazine can be attached and used without any problems even on the G17s. Conversely, on your 18C you can safely mount the standard short magazines made for the 17!
Optimized Thermal Management for Burst Fire:
Firing in Full-Auto (burst) with a gas pistol generates a very strong "Cooldown" effect (rapid freezing) that causes the pressure to collapse. VFC has solved the problem by creating this magazine with a massive and elongated body: the gigantic internal Green Gas tank not only ensures propellant for all 50 rounds, but acts as an impressive heat exchanger, stabilizing the pressure and preventing the pistol from venting at the best moment during bursts or rapid repeated shots.
The perfect Upgrade for the Glock 17: If you have a classic Glock 17 and play a lot in CQB (urban), buying this magazine is the most tactical move you can make. It will protrude from the bottom of the grip giving you a crazy "hitman" look and, above all, it will guarantee you 50 rounds of autonomy (more than double the normal) and a gas reserve such as to never suffer power drops during prolonged clashes!
The golden rule of Burst Fire (for the 18C): This magazine has a lot of gas, but the laws of thermodynamics do not forgive! If you hold down the trigger of your 18C to empty all 50 rounds in one, very long burst, the magazine will become an ice cube and the gun will vent. Use it intelligently: make controlled bursts of 5-6 rounds. You will keep the pressure high, you will be more precise and you will save the air nozzle.
Do not fill it to the brim: As always for very long magazines, even if the declared capacity is 50, stopping at 48 or 49 BBs is the choice of professionals. Leaving the spring a bit of play will guarantee a perfect drawing of the first shot and will save the delicate upper plastic "lips" from premature breakage.
