The Li-Po AEP/CMG Battery Adapter by IPOWER is the life-saving accessory if you use electric pistols! Modern Li-Po batteries for AEPs have a proprietary connector that is impossible to connect to classic professional (smart) chargers. This cable solves the problem: it connects to your AEP battery and splits it into a classic Deans (T-Plug) power connector and a 3-pin balance cable (for 7.4V). Now you can charge, balance, and monitor your micro-battery with maximum safety and precision!

The Electric Pistol (AEP) Dilemma:
Electric pistols (AEPs) and micro-SMGs have made a huge leap in quality thanks to the introduction of dedicated Li-Po batteries. However, to save space, these batteries use a proprietary connector block that integrates both power and balancing. The problem? You can't attach them to your trusted professional charger (like Imax, Gens Ace) which requires separate cables. Often you are forced to use the very slow and unreliable USB chargers included in the boxes.
The IPOWER Solution (Professional and Safe Charging):
This adapter is the perfect bridge between your AEP battery and your Smart Charger. By inserting the battery block into the adapter's housing, the contacts are surgically separated: on one side will come out the red Deans connector (T-Plug) for the main charge, on the other side will come out the white 3-pin JST-XH connector to balance the cells. This way you can charge the battery in a fraction of the time, monitoring the health of individual cells and drastically extending the life of your Li-Po!

Pro Maintenance Tips
Connect BOTH! Remember how a professional charger works: in order for the "Li-Po Balance" charge to start, you must connect both the red connector (Deans) and the white 3-pin connector to your charger. If you connect only one, the charger will give you a connection error.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE AMPERAGE (Don't Fry It!): Li-Po batteries for AEP pistols are very small (often around 500mAh and 600mAh). NEVER charge them at 1 or 2 Amps! Set your Smart Charger to a very low charging current (we recommend 0.5A maximum). Charging them too quickly will cause them to swell and be destroyed in very few cycles.
Connection Issues (Does your charger have Tamiya?): The adapter comes with the Deans connector. If your charger (or the "octopus" cable you usually use) only has the Mini Tamiya, you will need to get a small Deans to Tamiya adapter cable to connect it, or go to the M Tactical workshop to have the correct connectors soldered onto your charging cables!
