Pro Maintenance Tips
WARNING - Are you sure about the caliber? Let's repeat the golden rule together: if your pistol shoots 8mm, these 9mm rounds will NOT fit in the magazine! Don't make the mistake of buying 9mm thinking "it will be louder" if your weapon is native to 8mm. Also, not having the protruding base (flange), these rounds are absolutely NOT suitable for drum revolvers. Always read what is stamped on the slide of your replica!
Protect your eardrums! Özkursan 9mm rounds hit hard. If you use them outdoors to train dogs, everything will be fine. But if you use them indoors, in a garage, or to shoot scenes for a short film in confined rooms, the reverberation will easily exceed the pain threshold. Always wear hearing protection (plugs or headphones) to avoid annoying tinnitus at the end of the day!
Cleaning Operation: Power demands maintenance. The green plastic cup explodes to create the cycling, but leaves tiny residues of molten plastic mixed with black powder inside the barrel. At the end of the session, disassemble the slide, give the barrel a good scrub with a brush, and lubricate the extractor. A clean blank firer is a blank firer that never jams!
