Pro Maintenance Tips
Compatibility and Fit (Insertion): These magazines are designed for E&L rifles, known for their tight tolerances and thick materials (stamped steel). On an E&L, they lock in solidly, with no play. Can they fit on AKs from other brands (like Cyma or LCT)? Often yes, but due to the robust locking pin, on some brands you might need to lightly file the rear pin to get a smooth "click".
Speedloader Mandatory and Break-in: Being a pure 120-round mid-cap, you must use a speedloader (syringe) to load the BBs. Given the extreme power of the E&L spring, don't force 120 rounds at first use. Load 50, then empty it. Then 100, then empty it. This brief break-in will help the spring settle, ensuring years of perfect feeding.
Rest and Maintenance: The spring that lets you fire at high ROF without feeding issues is the heart of this magazine. At the end of the day, never leave the magazine half-full in the tactical vest! Pull back the small upper retention pin and empty all remaining BBs, allowing the spring to rest completely unloaded.
