Pro Maintenance Tips
Metal Care: Since it's a generous metal shell, take it to the field and let it get a few scratches: the battle-worn effect will make it even more historically fascinating! However, at the end of the day, we recommend wiping it with a dry cloth (or slightly dampened with silicone oil) to remove dirt and moisture accumulated during play, preventing surface rust formation.
Never Use the Speedloader: It's a rule for all Hi-Caps! Never force-feed BBs through the exit hole. Open the dedicated flap and pour the BBs inside in a gentle stream, avoiding stressing or breaking the plastic retaining pin.
Listen to the Gear: The internal spring is robust but deserves respect. Turn the gear at the bottom and stop immediately when the "click" sound changes, becoming dull and hard. Never overwind the spring (overwinding), or you risk damaging it forever. And remember, when you get back home, empty it completely and let the spring discharge!
