The Removable Gas Tank for M870 Tactical Shotgun manufactured by Tokyo Marui is the essential original spare part to keep your pump-action rifle always operational. Made entirely of solid metal to withstand the high pressures of Green Gas, it guarantees absolute reliability and the proverbial airtight seal (zero leaks) typical of Japanese engineering.
WARNING: This component functions solely as a propellant tank (gas). BBs should NOT be inserted here, but in the appropriate cartridges/shells (sold separately).

Marui Reliability and Full Metal Construction:
The Tokyo Marui M870 Tactical pump-action rifle is a formidable CQB machine, but to express its power it needs a constant and leak-free power source. This original Gas Tank is built with a massive block of metal machined with surgical precision. The fill and release valves are calibrated to offer a stable and continuous pressure, minimizing gas leaks and guaranteeing tight and powerful groupings with every single pump.
The Tactical Advantage of "Quick Change":
The biggest flaw of old gas rifles was having to carry the cylinder to the middle of the field to recharge them. With the Marui M870 system, the tank is completely removable. This allows you to purchase one or more extra tanks, keep them loaded with Green Gas in a pocket of your tactical vest and, once the propellant in the rifle is exhausted, replace the entire gas block in a few seconds, exactly as you would with the magazine of an assault rifle. You'll be back in action while your opponents are still looking for the cylinder in their backpack!
THE RAPID EJECTION TRICK (Pro-Tip): Being set very deep in the stock of the rifle, extracting the tank may seem cumbersome. But there's a trick! We don't know if Marui did it on purpose, but if you press the release button when there is still some residual gas, the remaining pressure will literally "spit" the massive metal block into your hand! Our tactical advice is therefore to not wait for the last blank shot: change the tank just before it is completely empty, taking advantage of the puff of pressure for a lightning-fast reload.
LET'S BE CLEAR: GAS ONLY! Many novice players buy this piece thinking it's a "magazine" to insert BBs. Wrong! This massive block fits into the stock and contains only Green Gas. BBs must be inserted separately, inside the 12-gauge cartridge-shaped shells to be inserted into the lower door of the weapon.
The Golden Rule of O-Rings: This tank is an investment that must be protected. The upper and refill valves have rubber gaskets. If at the end of the game you empty all the gas and store it dry, the rubber will dry out and the following Sunday it will leak everything! Always leave a light spray of gas inside: the pressure will keep the O-Rings in place and the gas lubricant will keep them hydrated.
