Realistic Design and Fabric Covering:
A light machine gun M249 (Minimi) requires a magazine worthy of its fame. BATTLEAXE has designed this BOX Mag replicating the famous compact "Nutsack" design of the armed forces. The mechanism is protected by a solid polymer box, in turn enclosed in a high-strength tarpaulin lining. The convenient side and top zip allows lightning-fast access to the large internal tank, facilitating reloads in the trench. Thanks to the three available colors (Black, OD Green or the Multicam/Woodland camouflage pattern), you can perfectly integrate it with your tactical setup.

Turbine System and Sound Control (2000bb):
Inside the box we find 2000 BBs ready to fire. The power supply is managed by the Turbine System, an electric mechanism that ensures a constant flow of ammunition along the flexible spring-loaded feeding tube. The heart of the system is the Sound Control: an acoustic sensor picks up the noise of the gearbox in action and orders the motor (powered by a 9V battery not included) to push the BBs only while you are actually shooting. Infinite suppressive fire, hands always firmly on the weapon!

Pro Tips

Watch Out for the Flexible Tube: The spring tube that connects the BOX to the machine gun receiver is the most delicate part of the system. When attaching or detaching the magazine, never pull the tube to force it! First insert the rigid coupling into the M249 magwell and then gently accompany the tube spout into the hop-up chamber.

High-Speed Compatibility: Just like for DRUM magazines, this BATTLEAXE BOX also performs best on standard M249 mechanics. If you have transformed your SAW into an extreme "blender" (over 22-25 BBs per second), the electric motor of the magazine may struggle to keep up. For "normal" or moderately fast rates of fire, however, it is an unstoppable tractor!

9V Battery Management: Open the tarpaulin zip to access the battery compartment. Insert a 9V battery of excellent brand or rechargeable. The golden rule of the machine gunner: at the end of the day always disconnect and remove the battery! Leaving it attached when you are not playing means oxidizing the contacts and risking it swelling or losing acid, ruining the magazine forever.
