Pro Maintenance Tips

COMPATIBILITY WARNING (Read Carefully!): G&G designed this magazine with millimetric dimensions for its MP5 replicas (the famous EGM and TGM series). Does it also work on MP5s from other brands (such as Cyma, ICS, Tokyo Marui, etc.)? Often yes, but beware: the manufacturer warns that modifications may be necessary on third-party brands! If the engagement tooth of your MP5 is slightly different, the magazine may struggle to enter, wobble too much or cause feeding issues. On non-G&G replicas you may have to slightly file the magazine tooth or put some tape to thicken it in the magwell. Keep that in mind!

Smart Reloading: The front wheel allows you to load the large internal spring. Rotate it until you feel that the "click" becomes very hard and offers strong resistance. Stop at that moment! The spring will be at 100% tension and will allow you to fire hundreds of BBs before having to give another quick "charge" with your weak hand during engagement pauses.

Rest at the end of the game: Vital rule to avoid throwing away the magazine after a month: at the end of the day ALWAYS empty the remaining BBs and completely release the spring tension (by holding down the upper retaining tooth or turning the wheel idly upside down). A spring left under tension weakens and loses its ability to push the BBs!
