LCT Construction: Steel and Nylon for RPK-16:
LCT is synonymous with "Real Steel" in the airsoft world. To properly equip their LCK-16 (the replica of the innovative Russian squad machine gun RPK-16), they created this drum using the same ballistic approach: a wise mix of reinforced nylon and pure steel components. The visible external ribs are not just aesthetic, but stiffen the structure protecting the internal mechanism. The weight is balanced at 667 grams, matching the gun without tiring you like old all-metal drums.
Electric Reloading Lever and 3 AA Batteries:
No cumbersome remote wires getting tangled in your uniform! LCT has integrated the motor interrupter directly into a pressure lever on the drum. Simply press it down with your thumb to make your 2000bb rise up the barrel. Another winning choice is the power source: the system uses 3 common AA batteries (not included), housed inside, allowing you to replace them on the fly in the trenches without going crazy with LiPo wires or old 9V batteries.
ATTENTION TO COMPATIBILITY (Read Carefully!): LCT produces replicas with millimeter precision. This drum perfectly mounts on the LCK-16 (RPK) and standard AK LCK series. However, due to proprietary pockets or receiver dimensions, IT DOES NOT FIT AT ALL on AS VAL, Vintorez (VSS), SR-3 (Vikhr), PP-19 (Vityaz/Bizon) or heavy machine guns PKP and RPD replicas. Check your replica before purchase!
How the lever works: Many customers buy this magazine, see the lever protruding, and try to rotate or pull it like a manual charge, risking breaking it. The lever only activates an internal button! Press it down with your thumb, gently, to close the contact and start the motor powered by batteries. Pressing it hard won't make the BBs rise faster!
Electric Maintenance: The battery compartment houses three AA batteries. Use branded alkaline batteries to give the right boost to the LCT motor. The golden rule of the machine gunner applies here too: at the end of the day, empty the remaining BBs and always remove the batteries from the magazine to avoid fatal oxidation to contacts.
