Pro Maintenance Tips

How to use the pull-cord without damage: The Flashmag system is fantastic but requires a minimum of delicacy. When you pull the cord, do it with a fluid movement and never jerk abruptly at the end of the stroke to avoid tearing the cable from the mechanism. Usually 3 or 4 fluid pulls are enough; when you feel that the resistance increases significantly or the sound changes, stop: the spring is already fully charged!

Watch out for dirt: Always remember to perfectly close the hatch of the lower base after pulling the cord. If mud, dirt or sand enter the cord compartment, the internal gears will inevitably jam.

Maintenance at the end of the game: As with any Hi-Cap, at the end of the day completely empty the tank of BBs. For Flashmags, make sure the spring is completely discharged by opening the top loading hatch and expelling any BBs remaining in the duct.
