The 500bb HI-CAP Magazine for AK 74 Series - APS is an essential accessory for riflemen who need a massive supply of ammunition, while maintaining a historically accurate look for their assault replica.
Historical Aesthetic (Izhmash Style):
The body of the magazine is made entirely of lightweight and durable polymer. The design faithfully reproduces the iconic Izhmash AK74 style, complete with a triangle logo printed on the lower side. It is AVAILABLE IN BRICK ORANGE COLOR (orange / light brown), a finish that perfectly simulates the classic Russian bakelite (AG-4) historically used. The contrast is guaranteed by the plastic top and the black baseplate.
Extreme Capacity (Hi-Cap):
This is a hi-cap magazine for Ak74 designed to guarantee prolonged suppressive fire. The large internal drop-down tank has a capacity of 500 BBs. The internal mechanism requires manual winding of the spring via the special lower wheel (Winding required).
Platform Compatibility:
Designed to offer wide versatility, it is compatible with most AK AEGs on the market. It was designed for APS and CYMA AK74 models, but also adapts perfectly to ASG SA-M7 models.
The File Rule (For E&L users): The manufacturer clearly specifies that this magazine "does not fit the E&L range without modifications". This is because E&L rifles are built with thick steel sheets and extremely tight "Real Steel" dimensions. If you want to use this beautiful Izhmash magazine on an E&L, you will need to equip yourself with a file or sandpaper and gradually smooth the polymer side "cheeks" of the magazine and the rear hooking tooth, until it enters the magazine well without straining.
Winding Wheel Management (500 rounds): To take full advantage of the 500 BBs, open the upper flap and pour them "in cascade" (do not use the spout or the Speedloader). Then, turn the toothed wheel under the black baseplate until you hear a loud "clack" that indicates the maximum spring tension. This will allow you to fire dozens of shots continuously before having to give another turn.
Historical Setups: The "Brick orange" color (often called bakelite or fakelite) is a real fetish for players. It is the perfect aesthetic choice if you are building a Russian setup from the 80s (War in Afghanistan) or 90s (First Chechen War) to combine with KLMK or Flora camo.
