The AK Magazine Coupler by Element is an essential tactical accessory to minimize reload times for your Soviet assault rifle. Made of sturdy black polymer and weighing only 100 grams, it allows you to join two magazines side by side (the famous "Jungle Style" setup). The special feature of this Element model is the textured checkered outer surface, which guarantees a perfect non-slip grip when grabbing the block to perform a quick magazine change. It has an easy insertion system for quick and secure mounting on the curved bodies of the AK.

Lightning-Fast Reloads and Superior Grip:
Magazine changes on the AK, due to its "pin" attachment, are physiologically slower than those of an M4. This Element Coupler solves the problem by keeping your spare magazine literally one centimeter away from the one inserted in the weapon. When you run dry, release, move your hand, and re-engage in one second flat. Element's design stands out for its "waffle" outer finish: this checkered texture offers exceptional grip to your support hand, preventing the magazine block from slipping during the most hectic maneuvers or if you are wearing gloves dirty with mud.
Scratch-Resistant Polymer and Easy Insertion:
Unlike older metal couplers, this high-density polymer model embraces your magazines without scratching the paint or bakelite. The clamps are shaped to offer easy insertion, accommodating the natural curvature of 7.62 or 5.45 caliber magazines. Weighing in at 100 grams, it adds immediate firepower without unbalancing the overall ergonomics of the rifle.
THE ART OF THE INVERTED SETUP (Vital on AKs!): Unlike the M4, the AK has a bulky receiver and a protruding side charging handle. If you couple the two magazines perfectly parallel (both facing upwards), the spare one will hit the rifle, preventing you from engaging it! The trick to using the Mag Coupler on an AK is to mount the magazines one upside down and the other right-side up, and stagger them slightly in height. This way, the curvatures will never interfere with each other or with the body of the replica, guaranteeing you a clean insertion.
Pay Attention to the Tightness on Mid-Caps: The two Allen screws pull the clamp very tightly. If you use metal hi-cap magazines, tighten firmly. But if you use polymer mid-cap magazines, do not overtighten the screws! Excessive lateral pressure could imperceptibly crush the internal BB channel, causing misfeeds or annoying jams.
Watch Out for Dirt: When using a coupler, the BB exit lip of your second magazine will be constantly exposed. If you play in heavy woodland, avoid planting the magazine in the mud when you lie down, otherwise you will push the dirt directly into the delicate hop-up unit of your replica!
