Full Metal Construction and Extended Autonomy:
"When the Secutor speaks, the enemy is silent." To stay true to this motto, Secutor Arms has developed a high-performance gas tank for its iconic line of Velites G-XI pump-action shotguns. By replacing the original tank with this high-capacity version, you will drastically increase the volume of gas stored. The solid all-metal structure not only prevents leaks and breakages, but also ensures excellent thermal insulation, limiting the "cooldown" effect during prolonged close-quarters bursts.
Constant Pressure and Tactical Advantage:
In gas systems, a larger tank volume translates into more stable internal pressure. This means that your groupings (of 3 or 6 BBs) will maintain a constant muzzle velocity and range for the duration of the engagement. Furthermore, installation is a simple "Drop-In": the tank slides in and out of the shotgun stock in an instant, allowing you to have a spare tank in your vest and change it on the fly just like you would with an assault rifle magazine, without having to use the gas canister in the middle of the field!
The Compatibility Trap (Read Carefully!): Gas tanks for pump-action shotguns all look the same aesthetically, but they are not! The connection valves and thicknesses change depending on the brand. This product was created and tested exclusively for the Velites G-XI series from Secutor. If you own a Tokyo Marui M870 (or its direct clones), stop: it will not fit in the stock or it will leak gas everywhere!
The Quick Change Trick: Don't think of this product only as a "spare part" if the original one breaks. The deadliest pump players in CQB use this tank as an additional magazine. Keep it full of Green Gas in a radio pouch or M4 magazine pouch on your tactical gear. If you run out of gas while clearing a room, instead of pulling out the canister and reloading, remove the empty tank from the stock, insert this spare and you will be ready to fire again in 3 seconds flat!
O-Ring Maintenance (Fundamental): As with all gas magazines, the brass valves have seals (O-Rings) that fear the cold and dryness. To prevent them from drying out and starting to hiss, NEVER store the tank completely empty at the end of the day. Always leave a very small spray of Green Gas inside: the pressure will keep the seals in place and the silicone lubricant contained in the gas will keep them soft and elastic.
