This IR (Infrared) reflective patch by La Patcheria depicts the Italian flag and is designed for personnel identification ("friendly ID") in low-visibility conditions, using night vision devices (NVG). It is a fundamental accessory for nighttime operations in military, police, or MilSim airsoft contexts.

How it works:

The patch does not glow in the dark.
Reflects IR light (infrared) emitted by IR illuminators (specific torches or illuminators integrated into the goggles).
This reflected light is visible only through night vision goggles, allowing for discreet identification of teammates.

Construction:

Uses materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) technology.
The Italian flag design is created by laser cutting the surface (with a background in original Crye MultiCam), which reveals the underlying IRR layer.
