The ASAP® (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) by Magpul® is a tactical receiver end plate for AR15/M4 platforms. It offers a mobile attachment point that allows for sling rotation greater than 180 degrees, ideal for ambidextrous shooters and rapid transitions.

Function: Replaces the standard receiver End Plate.
Movement: >180° for smooth ambidextrous use.
Sling Compatibility: Carabiners (Snap Hook, Paraclip™, HK Hooks).
Material: Precision cast steel (Made in USA).
Resistance: Tested over 300 lbs (136 kg).

Product Details

The Magpul® ASAP® (Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point) is designed to provide a decisive tactical advantage to operators using AR15/M4 platforms. This accessory replaces the standard receiver end plate, creating a central anchor point that allows the sling to move freely from side to side.

Total Mobility:
Thanks to its welded-link ring that slides along the bar, the ASAP allows a range of motion greater than 180 degrees. This eliminates sling entanglements and facilitates the immediate transition of the weapon from the primary to the support shoulder, making it perfect for CQB and ambidextrous shooters.

Heavy-Duty Construction:
Made in the USA, the ASAP is made of precision cast steel with a QPQ (nitrocarburization) or manganese phosphate finish for extreme wear and corrosion resistance. It has been tested to withstand stresses exceeding 300 pounds (over 136 kg).

Compatibility:
Installs on both Mil-Spec and Commercial-Spec buffer tubes. It is designed for use with single-point slings equipped with carabiner/hook attachments such as Magpul Paraclip™, HK or MASH hooks.

Note: NOT compatible with A1/A2 fixed stocks or stocks that cover the end plate such as Magpul PRS®, UBR® and MOE® Rifle Stocks.
