Searching for hemorrhage is one of the first actions to take with any injured patient. It responds to C for catastrophic hemorrhage, also called M for massive bleeding or X for the 10 factor of coagulation.
Any bleeding must be stopped. Faced with anyone who is bleeding: Press, Extend, Alert and Cover!
It comes from the military field and allows you to apply the tourniquet yourself, using only one hand.
Description:
- Very effective in stopping arterial bleeding.
- Can be placed on an arm or thigh.
- CE standard tourniquet.
- Bar pressure resistance: 470 N.
- Bar deformation resistance: 17.7 mm.
- The compression bar is designed for a good grip thanks to its double grip cone.
- To facilitate the positioning of the tourniquet, the end of the band is yellow. Even in a dark environment, thanks to this warm color, you can locate the tip to stop the bleeding.

3- Tighten around the arm, do not block the compression bar or the locking system.
