Custom ARK Design (Lightweight and Stylish):
EMG has partnered with Strike Industries to bring the renowned ARK series components to the airsoft world. The aluminum slide has been heavily milled and lightened, allowing the Gas Blowback system to cycle faster and more responsively. The magnificent spiral fluted outer barrel peeks through the slide cuts, an aesthetic detail that further reduces weight and gives the weapon an unmistakable tactical look. The metal sights are raised (suppressor-height) to allow you to aim easily even if you decide to mount a silencer on the threaded barrel.
Strike 80 Ergonomics and CO2 Power:
A firm grip is everything in a firefight. This replica adopts the Strike 80 frame design, characterized by an aggressive non-slip texture and an undercut below the trigger guard: this allows you to grip the weapon higher, better controlling the recoil. Power is provided by CO2, managed by the reliable KWC mechanics. Despite the powerful "kick" with each shot, the optimization of gas flow allows you to empty almost 4 full 25-round magazines (approximately 90 BBs in total) before having to change the 12g capsule!
The Gasket Nightmare (Remove the cartridge!): CO2 guarantees consistent performance even in winter, but it has a drawback: it is a very dry gas. The golden rule to make CO2 magazines last for years is to NEVER leave the pierced cartridge inside the magazine at the end of the game! If you leave it under pressure, the gas will freeze and dry out the sealing O-Ring, destroying it in a few weeks. At the end of Sunday, unscrew the end cap and remove the cartridge, even if it is half full.
Mandatory Silicone Oil: Precisely because CO2 does not contain lubricants (unlike Green Gas), you will have to hydrate the valve. Before piercing a new 12g cartridge, always spray a very small drop of silicone oil on the tip of the cartridge. This will protect the piercing pin and keep the main seal soft!
Take Advantage of the Threaded Barrel: The fluted outer barrel is not only beautiful to look at, but also has the internal thread protected. If you play in CQB or in night tournaments, unscrew the protective cap and mount a tracer unit or a custom flash hider. The standard raised sights will allow you to keep the line of sight perfectly clean even with the accessory mounted!
