Featuring a massive polymer D-Ring and a Melonite™ treated steel Paraclip™ carabiner, it attaches to one end of the sling, allowing you to instantly switch from a 2-point to a single-point configuration. Detailed Description
If you own a Magpul MS1 sling (or a compatible sling with smooth webbing ends) and desire maximum tactical flexibility, the MS1 - MS3 Adapter is the upgrade you need. The concept is simple and ingenious: by mounting a Paraclip™ carabiner to one end of your MS1 and this adapter to the opposite end, you will create a dynamic system. The adapter will securely attach to your replica, while the integrated heavy-duty polymer D-Ring will act as a receiving loop. This allows you to detach the front Paraclip from the weapon and attach it to the adapter's D-Ring on your chest, instantly transitioning from a stable 2-point carry to a close-quarters 1-point combat setup.
The build quality meets the highest military standards (100% Made in USA and Berry Amendment compliant). The integrated Paraclip™ carabiner features a hardened steel lever protected by a special QPQ/Melonite™ finish, offering extreme resistance to wear and corrosion. To prevent accidental openings, the clip is equipped with the Cross-Bolt Lock Bar system, a transverse slider that mechanically locks the lever. The 1.25 inch (3.17 cm) webbing is custom-woven to be anti-chafing, ultra-durable, and boasts a NIR (Near Infrared) treatment to reduce visual signature to night vision devices.

The Ultimate Magpul Setup: To fully utilize this system, correct installation is crucial. Mount this MS3 adapter to the rear of your sling and attach it to your rifle's receiver (ideally a Magpul ASAP plate at the base of the stock tube). Mount the single Paraclip to the front of the sling and attach it to the handguard (e.g., on an RSA sling mount). This way, the large polymer D-Ring will always rest comfortably on your chest: when you need to enter a building in CQB, detach the front Paraclip from the rifle and "click" it into the D-Ring. You've just transformed your M4 into a lethal and maneuverable single-point platform!
NIR Webbing Care: The webbing of this adapter has a specific treatment for infrared absorption (NIR). If you wash the equipment, do so strictly by hand in cold water with mild soap. Absolutely avoid tumble dryers, direct heat, and bleaching/optical detergents: these, in particular, destroy the NIR treatment, making your sling glow like a Christmas tree when viewed through the opposing team's night vision devices!
