This material not only offers a clean, institutional look perfect for uniforms, but also guarantees superior resistance to wear, abrasion, and tears compared to synthetic materials. The "Derby" style lacing, with minimal stitching, allows the boot to adapt perfectly to the shape of the instep.
GORE-TEX® Climate Shield:
Long patrol shifts don't know good weather. The inner lining is equipped with the GORE-TEX® Professional membrane, which makes the boot 100% waterproof and windproof, while allowing sweat to evaporate outwards. The result is a consistently pleasant internal microclimate and perpetually dry feet, both in heavy rain and during hot service days.
Advanced Support (DuraPU® Midsole):
The secret to the Renegade's comfort lies in its construction. The polyurethane midsole (DuraPU®) is injected directly onto the upper (Single Injection), creating an inseparable bond. Added to this is the Support Frame, a raised structure that wraps around the heel and ankle laterally: this "shadow" exoskeleton supports the foot on uneven terrain, allowing the operator to discharge force even on the smallest edges without risking sprains, while maintaining exceptional walking flexibility.
Secure Traction and Closed Hooks:
The LOWA Patrol rubber sole with tactical tread is formulated to offer maximum slip resistance (Slip Resistance SRC) on asphalt, concrete, wet surfaces, oils, and hydrocarbons. In addition, it insulates the foot from both heat and cold from the ground. To ensure maximum operational safety (especially in urban environments, CQB, or parachuting), all metal lacing loops are strictly closed (Closed Hooks), eliminating the risk of accidental snagging.

The Derby style means that the "flaps" where the laces pass are open and sewn above the upper. Polishing and Maintenance (Leather Food): Full-grain leather is like our skin: if you don't hydrate it, it dries and cracks. Do not use supermarket silicone sprays! To keep your Renegade immaculate and preserve the Gore-Tex, clean it with a damp cloth and regularly apply LOWA Active Creme Black (which you can find in the catalog).
