The CNC Rear Cocking Ring for AAP-01, an original Action Army product, is the essential upgrade to speed up the reloading of your pistol. Made of lightweight CNC Aluminum (only 11 grams), it allows you to cock the bolt in a fraction of a second with just one finger. It installs in a snap with two set screws. Available in anodized Red or Black colors.
ATTENTION: Not compatible if you use the Action Army folding stock kit!

Lightning-Fast Reload (One-Finger Cocking):
The AAP-01's tubular bolt, while ingenious and fast in the firing cycle, offers a reduced gripping surface when you need to manually rack the first shot or resolve a jam. This original Action Army Cocking Ring attaches directly to the rear of the bolt, creating a convenient metal "loop." This way you can cock the pistol by hooking the ring with just one finger (index or pinky), drastically speeding up reaction times during the most heated matches.

High-Performance CNC Aluminum:
Being mounted on the moving part of the pistol, weight is a critical factor. Action Army has machined this ring from an aluminum block via CNC process, hollowing it out to stop the scale at only 11 grams. This means that the ring will not weigh down the bolt and will not slow down the rate of fire of your AAP-01 in any way. The anodized finish (in bright Red or tactical Black) also guarantees excellent resistance to scratches and oxidation.

Pro Maintenance Tips for Installation

The Golden Rule of Threadlocker: This ring is mounted on the part of the weapon that takes the most violent impact of all: the bolt. If you screw the two 2mm grub screws "dry", we guarantee that after three magazines emptied in bursts the ring will fly away. Always put a very small drop of blue (medium) threadlocker on the threads of the grub screws before tightening them, and let it dry for a few hours.

ATTENTION TO THE STOCK (Folding Stock): If you have purchased or plan to purchase the original Action Army Folding Stock in the future to transform the pistol into a long gun, be aware that this ring is not compatible. The stock, when closed, hits right in the area where the ring resides, preventing it from closing or racking correctly.

Chromatic Match: The red ring is an absolute touch of class if combined with a red CNC trigger or a red external thumb rest. Creating a chromatic common thread will transform your AAP-01 from a simple "piece of plastic" to a racing gun with an aggressive and professional look.
