The Charm of the Short-Barreled Revolver:
There's nothing more classic and iconic than a compact revolver. The Bruni NEW 380 Corto is a masterpiece of compactness: with its 16.5 cm total length, it fits perfectly in a pocket or small pouch. This makes it the blank gun of choice for those who train hunting or truffle dogs, allowing them to walk in the woods with their hands free and have it ready for use in a second. The body is entirely made of metal (Full Metal) to restore the feel of a real weapon, while the ergonomic grips are made of rubberized polymer to ensure a firm and non-slip grip.
Total Reliability (Zero Jams):
The great advantage of revolvers over semi-automatic pistols is their absolute mechanical reliability. There is no slide that needs to move: just pull the trigger. The rotating cylinder houses 5 .380 caliber blank cartridges. The weapon fires both in Double Action (simply pressing the trigger rotates the cylinder and the hammer falls) and in Single Action (manually cocking the hammer with the thumb for a more precise and lighter shot). The gas vent occurs through the Top Firing system (upper hole), in full compliance with Italian regulations.
Ammunition Attention (Only .380 R!): Having the cylinder, this revolver only "eats" .380 R (Rimmed) caliber blank rounds, i.e. those with the protruding base (the flange) that fits into the holes in the cylinder. Do not buy 8mm or 9mm PAK rounds for semi-automatics, because they would slip out! Find the perfect rounds for this blank gun (Fiocchi or Özkursan brand) directly here on our store.
The Art of the Shot: This revolver allows you to shoot in two ways. If you need to make noise quickly, press the trigger repeatedly (Double Action). If you want to simulate "aimed shooting" or play Inspector Callaghan, first pull the hammer back with your thumb (Single Action): you will hear the classic mechanical "clack" and the trigger will become very light to press!
Cylinder Cleaning: Unlike semi-automatics, in revolvers the unburned powder and dirt from the cartridges is concentrated inside the 5 chambers of the cylinder. After firing, open the cylinder and vigorously pass the supplied brush (perhaps with a spray of weapon solvent) in each individual hole. If you let the dirt encrust, the next time you will have a tremendous effort to insert and extract the new rounds!
