The external 360° bezel of this IMI adapter is physically compatible with the beloved Amomax and Cytac systems. However, pay attention to a mechanical detail: IMI Defense inserts a slightly more protruding "male" pin in the center of its toothed bezel, designed to fit precisely into the "female" seats of its own proprietary bases. If you mount this adapter on an Amomax/Cytac paddle or thigh rig, this small pin might create too much thickness and prevent the teeth from engaging properly. The solution? Take some sandpaper or a Dremel and lightly file down the central pin to flatten it. In three minutes, you'll have perfect compatibility and an indestructible hybrid holster!
Threadlocker is Mandatory: You are connecting two different ecosystems using a set of three screws and small nuts. With the vibrations from running, disassembly, and impacts in the field, screws tend to loosen over time. Before final assembly, apply a tiny drop of blue (medium strength) threadlocker to the threads of the Safariland screws. This will lock the system, making it a 100% reliable polymer monolith.
