The CNC Side Charging Handle TYPE 1 for AAP-01, an original Action Army product, is designed to maximize the speed of racking your pistol. This robust lever made of CNC Aluminum has an ambidextrous design: you can decide whether to have it protrude on the right or left side of the bolt! Lightweight and ultra-resistant (also compatible with CO2 use), it is fixed with two screws included. Available in Black or Red colors.

Instinctive Manipulation (Assault Rifle Style):
The standard AAP-01 bolt can sometimes be slippery if you are wearing tactical gloves or if you need to rack the first round in a split second. This original Action Army Type 1 Charging Handle solves the problem by adding a generous grooved side lever. This way you can charge the pistol "by pulling", using the palm of your hand or the side of your index finger, just like you would with the charging handle of an AK rifle or a shotgun!
Ambidextrous and Indestructible CNC Aluminum:
Machined from a single block of aluminum via CNC, this piece combines extreme structural resistance (it is certified to withstand the violent recoil of CO2 magazines without problems) with a negligible weight, so as not to slow down the rate of fire of the replica in any way. Its intelligent design is completely ambidextrous: simply turn the piece when fixing it to make the lever protrude to the right (ideal for left-handers) or to the left (ideal for right-handers).
Choose your side: Being an ambidextrous piece, before screwing it on, try gripping the pistol to understand which side is most comfortable for you. If you are right-handed, mounting the lever on the left side will allow you to rack quickly with your support hand without ever taking your strong hand off the trigger. The opposite is true for left-handers!
Threadlocker is your best friend: As with the rear ring, this piece is located on the moving bolt which undergoes violent impacts with each shot. Always put a drop of blue (medium) threadlocker on the threads of the two small screws supplied before tightening them. If you screw them on dry, the vibrations will cause them to unscrew in no time.
Aesthetic Combo: If you want a truly aggressive "Custom" look, combine the red version of this tie rod with a red CNC trigger and a red extended magazine release. Your AAP-01 will attract the eyes of the whole field!
