Picking up the Bruni M92 is an experience. Forget the light polymer airsoft replicas: this blank gun is a solid metal block (Zamak alloy) that weighs exactly 1.2 kg. The knurled polymer grips, the functioning controls (safety, hammer, magazine release), and the iconic open-barrel design make it a majestic reproduction, capable of instilling immediate visual and psychological respect.
Semiautomatic Mechanics and Double Action:
Just like the real weapon, the Bruni M92 is a double-action, semi-automatic pistol. You can insert the 11-round magazine, rack the slide to chamber the first cartridge, and fire repeatedly: with each shot, the weapon will eject the empty casing and automatically reload the new one. The strong recoil simulated by the heavy metal slide, combined with the flash and deafening noise of the 8mm blank rounds, guarantee an unparalleled simulation.
What does "Top Firing" mean? According to Italian law, blank firing guns must have the barrel obstructed to prevent the insertion of real bullets. The term Top Firing means that the gas, flash, and pressure of the shot do not come out of the front muzzle of the barrel, but vent from a special hole located on the upper part of the slide. Always remember this to avoid burning your hands!
Never dry (The perfect combo): You just put this 1.2 kg beast in the cart... but without rounds it's just an expensive paperweight! Don't forget to add a couple of boxes of 8mm caliber blank rounds to your order (you can find them in the catalog, branded Fiocchi, Özkursan or Kaiser). And remember: this pistol uses 8mm, DO NOT buy 9mm caliber or revolver rounds (.380) otherwise they will jam!
Treat it like a real weapon: Even if it fires blanks, this mechanism needs love. The rounds produce a lot of soot that gets everywhere. At the end of the session, disassemble the slide, pass the supplied brush and heavily lubricate the slide rails and spring with a good gun oil. If you leave it dirty, the next time it will jam on the first shot!
